From Sunday roasts to our award-winning Afternoon Tea, discover quintessential classics elevated by the Morston Hall touch.
Celebrate Culinary Perfection
Stepping back from the exquisite choreography and ceremony of the evening dining experience, our Michelin starred chefs turn their creativity and passion to a more laid back style of hospitality. From Norfolk’s only Michelin starred afternoon tea, to one of the top ranked Sunday Roasts in the country, Morston Hall brings its own elegant touch to British classics.
Open throughout the week, our casual dining options adopt the same dedication to local suppliers, home grown produce, sustainability, and quality as found in our evening dining experience. Every plate is served with the same attention to craft and hospitality that defines Morston Hall.

Afternoon Tea
A timeless tradition at its finest.
Afternoon Tea at Morston Hall is far from ordinary — it’s Norfolk’s only Michelin-starred interpretation of a timeless British tradition. Rooted in comfort but elevated by craft, this is one of the most memorable ways to experience the hall’s uniquely elegant blend of hospitality, flavour, and setting.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Friday in our light and airy tea room overlooking the front garden and pond — an unhurried occasion where calm conversation and timeless tradition come together. The menu includes a seasonal selection of delicate finger sandwiches, warm homemade scones with clotted cream and Morston Hall preserves, and beautifully presented pastries, all crafted in-house daily using ingredients from our garden and trusted local producers.
Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply soaking in the Morston Hall atmosphere for an afternoon, Afternoon Tea at Morston Hall offers a moment of calm indulgence — one that lingers well beyond the final cup.
